The Philips Envia OLED screens for gamers are on their way to Israel

Philips launched a pair of OLED screens for the gaming market under the Envia brand which it launched last year. The two new screens, 42M2N8900 and 34M2C8600, belong to the brand’s 8000 series, and will arrive in Israel later this year.

The Envia 42M2N8900 has a 42-inch OLED panel and offers thin bezels, 10-bit color depth and a resolution of 4K or 2160×3840 pixels. The screen offers a high refresh rate of 138 Hz and a response time of 0.1 milliseconds from gray to gray. On the company, the screen additionally offers speakers with DTS certification and USB-C connections that are also used for KVM to allow the connection of two personal computers.

The Envia 34M2C8600 may have a smaller screen, measuring 34 inches, but it is a concave screen and a QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels and support for HDR True Black 400. This screen also has a response time of 0.1 milliseconds and USB inputs C for KVM needs.

Both screens are equipped with Philips’ Ambiglow technology, which with LED lights on the back of the screen allows light to be projected onto the wall according to what is happening on the screen.

The 42M2N8900 and the 34M2C8600 are expected to arrive in Israel in the third and fourth quarters of the year respectively, and their price will be determined when they arrive in Israel.
