AThe much awaited trailer of ‘Tunivi’ has been released by Jeet fans. The trailer opens with a bank robbery, leaving the question whether Ajith is a cop or a robber. The trailer assures that Pongal will be the perfect movie to set the theaters on fire. Along with Ajith, there is Manju Warrier in a never-before-seen bold getup.
Directed by H Vinod, the film starring Ajith will hit the theaters as a Pongal release. Manju Warrier is playing the role of Kanmani in the film. Thuniv is the reunion of Ajith Kumar and H Vinod after Nerkonda Parvai and Valimai.
The film also stars Veera, Samudharkani, John Koken and Telugu actor Ajay in lead roles. Cinematography by Nirav Shah and editing by Vijay Velukkutty. Netflix has got the running rights of ‘Tunivi’ and will start streaming the film on OTT after the theatrical release. The film is produced by Boney Kapoor.
After ‘Tunivi’, Ajith will play the lead in Vignesh Shivan’s direction. It is reported that Ajith may also play the lead in the film directed by National Award winner Sudha Kongara Prasad.

Meanwhile, another superstar film is coming as a Pongal release. That movie is Varish with Vijay as the hero. Vamshi Paidipally is the director of Waris. After nine long years, Ajith Kumar and Vijay films are hitting the theaters at the same time. In 2014, the films released on the same day were Jilla and Veeram.
