The police travel to Karbala in preparation for confronting Uzbekistan’s Pakhtakor

The Police Club delegation left this Saturday morning for Karbala Governorate, fully prepared in preparation for facing the Uzbek Pakhtakor team in an important match within the AFC Elite Champions League.

A statement by the Police Club, followed by the (INA), stated, “The police team’s ranks were completed with the return of the international players who were with the national team in the match against South Korea for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, as they concluded their training in Baghdad yesterday, Thursday.”
The statement added, “This day will witness the team’s first training unit in Karbala, which will be closed to the media to complete the preparations in a focused manner, provided that the second training unit on Sunday will be open for only 15 minutes, on the main stadium in Karbala.”
It is noteworthy that the upcoming meeting with the Uzbek Pakhtakor team will take place at seven o’clock in the evening next Monday at Karbala International Stadium, as Al-Shorta Club seeks to achieve a positive result that will enhance its chances in the Asian Championship.”
