Jacques-Ayadji, president of Moele-Benin

The first vice-president of the tenth electoral district of the Moele-Benin party, Aholou Alobakin, was suspended from any activity relating to the party. This four-month suspension was made public on Monday January 9, 2024 by the higher authorities of Moele-Benin. According to the latter, he is accused of an offense detrimental to the interests of the party consisting of a campaign to demobilize activists, with a view to a joint declaration of resignation and membership of an opposition political party. During this period of suspension, he cannot act on behalf of the party nor be a voter or candidate for an internal position, party officials warn.
