On June 10, Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Rustam Badasyan received the delegation led by the head of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation, Daniil Egorov, who is on a working visit to Armenia.
A number of issues related to cooperation in the tax field were discussed. The core of the meeting was the implementation of the road map signed between the State Revenue Committee of RA and the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation “On the implementation of the pilot program of the exchange of electronic documents during cross-border trade using the trusted third party mechanism between economic subjects of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia”.
The parties have finished evaluating a number of measures outlined in the pilot program and documented the need to complete the unfulfilled measures by October 1 of the current year. At the meeting, it was emphasized that in the case of successful implementation of the pilot project, the issue of further development of the project and distribution to all interested parties should be worked out, so that during cross-border trade, there will be an opportunity to exchange electronic documents between business entities both in bilateral format and on the EAEU platform.
SRC Chairman Rustam Badasyan and Head of the Federal Tax Service of the Russian Federation Daniil Yegorov exchanged thoughts on further steps of cooperation. The joint works carried out in the direction of increasing the efficiency of the tax administration of Russia and Armenia were also observed. The parties have expressed their readiness to make all efforts to expand further cooperation and implement the agreements reached.
