During the discussion led by Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan today, the “Road Map of Armenia’s Investment Reforms” developed by USAID experts was presented.

The meeting was also attended by Rebecca White, acting director of the USAID Armenia Mission, Ani Ispiryan, Deputy Minister of Economy, Levon Ohannesyan, director of the Investment Support Center Foundation (“Enterprise Armenia”), and others.

Deputy Prime Minister Matevosyan welcomed everyone to the discussion of such an important issue for the Armenian government and emphasized that creating a favorable business and investment environment has a key role in RA’s commitment to building a knowledge-based, export-oriented and inclusive economy. “Consequently, we are carrying out continuous work not only to make our policy and legislative environment more suitable for business, but also to create institutional regulations that contribute to the promotion and facilitation of investments”, noted the Deputy Prime Minister, and in this context, he highly appreciated the cooperation with USAID in recent years. and efforts to support the said process.

The Deputy Prime Minister’s speech was followed by the presentation of the Roadmap, during which USAID representatives referred to the investment policy, promotion and facilitation of investments, as well as investment privileges and the institutional structure of investments.
