In Chennai, the price of jewelery gold rose by Rs 120 per sawan to Rs 41,040 per sawan.
Although occasional fluctuations in gold prices are a regular occurrence, gold prices have been bullish for the past few weeks. Last week’s maximum was Rs.40,360 per bar on December 12 and Rs.40,800 per bar on December 14. Later, on the 16th, a sawan was sold down to Rs.40,360. Then the price of gold has been increasing continuously for more than a week.
Rs.120 hike for Sawaran
In this case, today, the last day of this year, the price of 22 carat jewelery gold in Chennai increased by Rs.15 per gram to Rs.5,130 per gram. As a result, the price of a shaver has increased by Rs.120 and a shaver is being sold at Rs.41,040.
Meanwhile, silver prices fell by Rs 20 paise to Rs 74.30 per gram and Rs 200 per kg to Rs 74,300. The price of gold has crossed Rs 41 thousand and has caused a great shock among gold buyers.
