A slight increase in the prices of cereals on the world stock markets in the first week of December is reported by the experts of the Sofia Commodity Exchange, BTA reported.
The FOB (Free On Board) price of bread wheat in Chicago rose $3 to $248 a tonne for December delivery. In France, the price rose by 3 euros to 225 euros per ton, in Russia – by 1 dollar to 229 dollars per ton, and in ukraine it is down by 1 dollar to 239 dollars per ton.
The price of corn in the US rose by $4 to $207 a ton, in France it fell by €5 to €200 a ton, and in Ukraine it rose by $2 to $219 a ton.
Barley in Ukraine added $4 to $218 a tonne for December delivery, and rapeseed on the Euronext exchange for February 2025 delivery. up 36.25 euros to 529.25 euros per ton.
Crude sunflower oil contracts on the Rotterdam Stock Exchange for delivery in January next year rose $5 to $1,230 a tonne. Refined sugar was down $10 at $550.20 a tonne on the London Stock Exchange.
At the Sofia Commodity Exchange, ther is a movement in the trade in grain goods, the experts of the exchange also report. During the week,there were deals for bread wheat at BGN 545 per ton,and the demand for feed wheat in bulk continues to be at BGN 340 per ton. Oil-yielding sunflower was purchased at BGN 1,000 per ton.
Prices of basic food items remained stable with the initial price level unchanged. Bottled oil is sold at BGN 2.20 per liter, and unrefined oil at BGN 1,750 per ton. Yellow peas continue to be offered in big bag at one ton at a starting price of BGN 1,200 per ton.
During the week of the SSB, there were deals for methane at BGN 1.65/kg. LPG gas was bought from BGN 1010 to BGN 1041.67/thousand liters. Ferrous metal waste was sold for BGN 160 to BGN 210 per ton, lead waste for BGN 700 to BGN 1,550 per ton, and aluminum waste for BGN 800 to BGN 1,400 per ton. There were also deals for universal motor oil, without excise duty, at BGN 5,000/thousand liters.
