Today, Friday, the Minister of Commerce, Atheer Daoud Al-Ghurairi, announced the Prime Minister’s approval to postpone the 48th session of the Baghdad International Fair until February 2025.

A statement from the ministry, received by the (INA), stated that “the Ministry of Commerce’s request to postpone the 48th session of the Baghdad International Fair came as a result of the circumstances that the region is going through as a result of the Zionist entity’s attacks on the states of Lebanon and Palestine and their peoples.”
He stressed, “The Baghdad International Fair sessions are of great importance as they are Iraq’s economic gateway to attract countries and companies to display their products, identify the needs of the Iraqi market, and create partnerships with Iraqi sectors to enter into investment projects in various fields.”
The statement noted that “the Ministry, through the Iraqi Exhibitions Company, will announce the exact date for the 48th session if it is confirmed and all preparations are completed.”
