The prosecutor’s office began checking the restaurant where the cook died as a result of a fire

The Metropolitan Prosecutor’s Office organized an inspection of the restaurant because of the fire, where a person died and another was injured. This was reported in the Telegram channel of the Moscow prosecutor’s office.

The fire broke out on Shelepikhinskaya embankment at 4:00 in the restaurant. 29 men who worked as a cook died, another 43-year-old man, who works as a security guard, was injured and hospitalized.

“During the audit, the prosecutors will establish all the circumstances and reasons for what happened, assess the fulfillment of the requirements of federal legislation and, if there are grounds, take prosecutorial response measures,” the agency said.
