The Rapid Support Forces in Sudan announced its ban on Sudanese exports to Egypt, after accusing it of sending military forces to Sudan. This comes after the Rapid Support Forces accused Egypt that its army participated in the war currently taking place in Sudan, to support the Sudanese army forces against the support forces.
In a circulating video clip, the leader of the Rapid Support Forces from the Blue Nile region, Al-Mak Abu Shotal, warned merchants in the areas under the control of the “Rapid Support Forces” against exporting any goods to Egypt, and threatened them with accountability according to a decision issued by the Advisory Council of the “Rapid Support Forces.” “.
Abu Shawtal said: “If merchants export a cup of gum arabic, or peanuts, or an animal to Egypt, they will be punished with the most severe and deterrent penalties, and that all our resources must go to neighboring countries, except for Egypt, and that any truck heading to the Sudanese Daba (crossing) or Egypt will be punished.” “It must be treated as an outright enemy.”
It is noteworthy that Sudan exports agricultural and animal commodities to Egypt, including “peanuts, gum arabic, camels, lamb,” and others. These commodities are mostly produced in areas controlled by the “Rapid Support Forces” in Darfur and Kordofan, in addition to the desert crossed by trucks and camel convoys heading to Egypt. .
The “Rapid Support” issued a lengthy statement in which it said that it currently has prisoners of what it described as “Egyptian mercenaries,” accusing Egypt of supporting the Sudanese army with all military capabilities, and facilitating the entry of supplies of weapons, ammunition, aircraft, and drones.
