In his speech for the occasion, the President​ of⁢ the Senate Emmanuel Sinzohagera indicated that during the parliamentary recess, all Senators united with the population to carry out various activities adn collect their grievances, in order to transmit them to the competent authority ‍with a view to find sustainable solutions.

He thanked a group of senators who visited the provinces of muyinga,Kirundo,Cibitoke,Bubanza,Bujumbura,Bururi,Rumonge and Makamba,from November 18​ to 22,2024.During ‍these visits,‍ they interacted with the security agents and administrative officials in these provinces in order to raise their awareness of the importance of strengthening security during this pre-electoral period.
