The Senegalese Minister of Foreign Affairs expresses her admiration for the leadership and strong commitment of HM the King to peace, stability and development in Africa

Rabat – The Senegalese Minister of African Integration and Foreign Affairs, Ms. Yassine Fall, expressed, Monday in Rabat, her admiration for the leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI and paid tribute to the Sovereign’s African vision in terms of peace, stability and socio-economic development.

In the Joint Communiqué published at the end of her meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans living abroad, Mr. Nasser Bourita, the Senegalese minister also welcomed the dynamic initiated within the framework of the Process of Atlantic African States to make the Atlantic African space a geostrategic framework for intra-African cooperation and consultation, pragmatic and timely.

Ms. Fall also praised the tireless action of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Amir Al Mouminine, for the preservation of security and religious and spiritual integrity at the level of the Continent, based on the promotion of a Islam of the middle ground, open and tolerant.

During their meeting, Mr. Bourita and Ms. Fall welcomed the holding of the MoroccoSenegal-Nigeria tripartite cooperation meeting last January in Rabat to discuss the progress of the West African Nigeria gas pipeline megaproject. -Morocco and the modalities for strengthening coordination and cooperation within the framework of this project, a symbol of South-South cooperation.

The Republic of Senegal is actively engaged in this Nigeria-Morocco African-Atlantic gas pipeline project, which, once completed, will contribute to improving the living conditions of the population and strengthening regional economic integration, it is indicated in the Joint Communiqué.
