Pierre-Henry Broncan (Castres coach, after the 29-10 defeat against Montpellier) came back to this setback in the mixed zone:
“The start of the match hurt us a lot, that’s for sure. Montpellier’s first try is our action: we get into their 22, we are 10-12 meters from the line but we lose the ball, they kick it back… and there, Geoffrey Palis takes an initiative a little crazy, playing with the foot over the top which turns against him and scores the Montpellier residents on their first visit to our camp. We are 23-3 at the break, it’s complicated. We can’t score in the second half, we can’t score quickly despite our chances. We don’t flatten, it’s a shame.”
