October 28 at Heydar Aliyev International Airport An official meeting was held at the Border Control Command of the State Border Service (SBS) in order to familiarize the leadership of the Service with the organization of border control within the framework of COP29, as well as familiarize themselves with the work done and check the level of training.

It is noted that the personnel of the border control command were informed of the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Victorious Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev to the State Border Guard Service in connection with the international event.
“The Head of the State Border Guard Service, Colonel-General Elchin Guliyev and the President of Azerbaijan Airlines Closed Joint Stock Company Samir Rzayev inspected special technical equipment and control equipment for the introduction of technical progress, the effectiveness of security measures, prompt verification of documents of foreign guests, and ensuring rapid passage of passport control.
After hearing reports on the work done at an official meeting, the leadership of the State Border Guard Service gave the necessary recommendations and instructions for the high-level implementation of the tasks assigned to the Border Control Command in connection with the upcoming prestigious international event in Azerbaijan,” the department said in a statement.
