The TAP consortium announced gas supply volumes

From the start of commercial operation until September 28, 2024, the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) transported 39.51 billion cubic meters of gas to Europe.

As Day.Az reports with reference to Trend, the TAP AG consortium said this.

“During the reporting period, TAP supplied 3.86 billion cubic meters to Greece, 2.40 billion cubic meters to Bulgaria and 32.97 billion cubic meters to Italy,” the consortium said.

On December 31, 2020, supplies of Azerbaijani gas to Europe along the Southern Gas Corridor began. Through the TAP, Azerbaijan exported its natural gas to the European market via pipelines for the first time in history. With direct access to the European market, which is the largest importer of natural gas in the world, Azerbaijan has diversified its export opportunities.
