The job fair TreballemGi has passed the thousand registered and they have done it more than 2,000 job interviews until mid morning The tenth edition of the show, which was held this Wednesday at the Girona Auditorium, had the participation of 75 companies what is offered 572 jobs with very diverse profiles: from kitchen assistants, to mechanics, salespeople or engineers. The fair also has online versionwhich has allowed resumes to be uploaded and maintained interviews by way of telematics. From early in the morning, the hall of the Auditorium has filled of job seekers who could leave your resumes.
In this edition, in addition, the loyalty of ten companies that regularly participate has been rewarded. Among them, there are Axxon, Bauhaus, Carrefour, eat, Dibosch, the Addecco Foundation, Marlex, Roberlo, Mineralia i Immediately.
The president of the Chamber of Commerce, Jaume Fabregaemphasizes the importance of the fair and says that it is a “great opportunity” to find “talent and, even, to try to bring back those who had to go abroad due to lack of opportunities”.
The president also points out that for years the fair is no longer aimed only at young people, but at anyone looking for a job.
The fair is organized by the Girona Chamber of Commerce within the framework of the PICE Program and with the collaboration of Girona City Council, la Province of Gironahe Employment Service of the Generalitathe County Council of Gironès and the University of Girona, and is financed by European Social Fundhe Ministry of Labor in the framework of Youth Employment Operational Program i the Chambers of Commerce.
The representative of the Generalitat Government in Girona, Laia Cañigueral, took part in the opening of the fair; the vice-mayor of Girona, Gemma Geis; and the subdelegate of the Spanish government, Albert Bramon.
