The threat of “Russian invasion” forced the people of Kiev to flee the capital

by time news

The people of Kiev and representatives of the Ukrainian authorities are leaving the capital because of the threat of “Russian invasion”. Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Renat Kuzmin wrote about this on his Facebook.

He pointed to the small number of cars and people on the Kiev streets. In his opinion, residents of the capital of Ukraine are fleeing abroad, or to the western regions of the country, preparing for the “worst”.

The parliamentarian explained the lack of reaction of the authorities to this by the fact that they themselves are busy evacuating their families from Kiev. Kuzmin believes that the people of Kiev and the authorities may be afraid of both “Ryazan paratroopers” and “home-grown pogromists.”
