Today, Monday, Tunisian President Kais Saied took the constitutional oath before the Assembly of People’s Representatives and the National Council of Regions and Provinces in the session held at the Bardo Palace.

Saied said in his speech after taking the oath: “We will rise to all challenges, overcome all obstacles, and be on a date with history to respond to the legitimate demands of the Tunisian people. We will work at a rapid pace while shortening distances to respond to these aspirations and achieve the true goals of the revolution, which have been deviated from for years.”
He added, “This responsibility, which we all bear, requires redoubling efforts in all areas of life so that the Tunisian people live freely and with dignity in a sovereign state whose people determine their own destiny.”
