The eight-episode spin-off series on the Addams Family, Tim Burton’s first television project, tells the world of Wednesday. Endowed with superpowers, the protagonist is a high school student who feels different by peers (in fact it is…) and suffers from it. His personal story intersects with that of the mysterious murders that afflict the town where the Addamses live and with the cumbersome history of his family. Wednesdaywas created by Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (Smalville) and shot by the director of Edward scissor hands e The Chocolate Factory. The protagonist is played by 17-year-old Jenna Ortega (Jane the Virgin), in the cast also Christina Ricci and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
