People’s Artist Thu Ha: Many times mistaken for People’s Artist Tra Giang’s daughter
Sharing with Dan Viet, People’s Artist Thu Ha “Jade Leaves and Golden Branches” said that she has a great relationship with People’s Artist of Tra Giang. When she was just 6 years old, many people said she had many similarities with the People’s Artist Tra Gianglooks like the daughter of People’s Artist Tra Giang. “At that time I was still just a child, not yet perfecting my facial features like a young woman… but I don’t understand why many people said that,” People’s Artist Thu Ha wondered.

When she was 10 years old, People’s Artist Thu Ha saw the movie People’s Artist Tra Giang played. The female artist remembers that at that time her mother was very fond of movies and every time she went to the movies she would take her with her. Coincidentally, the movies shown in cinemas at that time all starred People’s Artist Tra Giang.
“It’s fortunate and also an unforgettable memory that the first movie I played in was Brown Shirt Leader – a movie about the hero De Tham. In this movie, People’s Artist Tra Giang plays the role of Mrs. Ba Can – De Tham’s third wife. Tham. At that time, Ms. Bach Tra – Ms. Tra Giang’s daughter was studying far away from her family, so she loved me very much and saw me as her daughter.
Perhaps I have many messy features and am loved like a child by People’s Artist Tra Giang, so many people mistakenly think I am the real child of Ms. Tra Giang. I don’t understand why, back then, every time someone mistook me for… Tra Giang’s daughter I am very happy and happy.
At that time, I had many features similar to Ms. Tra Giang such as big eyebrows, high nose, plump face…
Ms. Tra Giang is a very wonderful person. Now, we all live in different places, we live in the South and we live in the North, but sometimes we still call each other to check on each other. Now that she’s older, she rarely goes out, only staying at home to focus on drawing, so I don’t see her as much as before, but in my heart there is always the shadow of Tra Giang’s “mother”, People’s Artist Thu Ha added.

According to People’s Artist Thu Ha, People’s Artist Tra Giang is an exemplary artist in the film industry that she greatly admires. The female artist also greatly influenced me with her acting and lifestyle.
“I feel that Ms. Tra Giang is stronger than me in strong roles. For example, in the role of De Tham’s grandmother, she can express a very authoritative quality, but I cannot do that. In addition, she is always there. exuding the beauty of a pure Vietnamese woman. Later, when filming See you again in Saigon, Red Rose, I only have you… I also tried to aim for that very Vietnamese image of Ms. Tra. Giang.
I feel very proud to be able to act with Ms. Tra Giang and receive her affection. I think, in the life of an artist, you are not always lucky enough to meet such a person. She is an example for us, the next generation of artists, to strive to follow,” People’s Artist Thu Ha expressed.
People’s Artist Lan Huong: Carried by People’s Artist Tra Giang since she was a baby
People’s Artist Lan Huong “Hanoi Baby” also shared that People’s Artist Tra Giang is very close to her family. Since she was a little girl who “didn’t know anything”, she met her “mother” Tra Giang. People’s Artist Tra Giang later told her that, at their first meeting, the female artist was impressed with her eye color, which was unlike anyone else in her family.

“Miss Tra Giang knew my family because my uncle and grandfather both worked at the film studio. My grandfather worked in the accounting and administrative department, and my grandmother took care of the children at the film studio.
I once asked my mother, if she didn’t get into Polytechnic University, what would she do? She said she would follow the family tradition of film editing.
I grew up in an artist’s dormitory in alley 72 Hoang Hoa Tham (Ba Dinh, Hanoi). At that time, my parents often went on business trips, so I often stayed at home. In the middle of the dormitory at that time there was a common water tank, and the kitchen was also a communal kitchen.
Ms. Tra Giang often goes to that water tank to wash vegetables and rice, and every time she does that, she passes by my house. Every time she saw me, Ms. Tra Giang stopped carrying me and played with me for a while.
Since I was little, my parents took me to see movies in theaters because they couldn’t send me to anyone. Well, every time I entered the theater, I sat still even though I was only 1 year old, attentively watching the movie, looking at the screen.
That day, I often watched the movie Sister Tu Hau played by Ms. Tra Giang and I was very obsessed with Ms. Tra Giang. That was the scene where she wore a scarf across her face and her hair was also crossed across her face. I really liked it.

I grew up at the end of the war and Ms. Tra Giang participated in the movie 17th Parallel Day and Night. Every time Ms. Tra Giang runs back to the dormitory to get things, I see her and admire her because she looks so pretty with makeup.
I looked at Ms. Tra Giang at that time and was fascinated, bewildered, and liked it very much. I couldn’t watch it until she finished making that movie. I watched it over and over again, watched it again and again, and watched it because I loved Ms. Tra Giang. Wherever the movie was shown, me and the kids on the studio went to see it. When I filmed the movie Hanoi Baby, I always thought of Ms. Tra Giang’s face to try to act in the movie,” People’s Artist Lan Huong said.
People’s Artist Lan Huong added that every time she comes to Ho Chi Minh City, no matter how busy she is, she tries to visit People’s Artist Tra Giang. After not seeing each other for a long time, she and People’s Artist Tra Giang called again to ask and share with each other. In her heart, for a long time, People’s Artist Tra Giang has been like her second mother. And because of this closeness and somewhat similar appearance, many people thought she was the female artist’s daughter. People’s Artist Lan Huong feels very happy about that.
