Since February 6, one of the union committees, led by Pro Guida LANDOURE as deputy secretary general, has called an indefinite strike at the Point G University Hospital. After a month, the deputy secretary general, Pr LANDOURE pleads with the national authorities , through this media release, to put an end to this unlimited work stoppage. It was thanks to a lively press briefing, this Tuesday, March 21, 2023, by the person concerned himself, who had by his side, his fellow trade unionists, at the Labor Exchange.
The objective of the meeting with the media men, according to the organizers, was to take stock of the indefinite strike.
In his speech, the Speaker Guida LANDOURE said that for two years, his union committee was in the dynamics of a series of strikes at the Center Hospitalier Universitaire du Point G.
According to the trade unionist LANDOURE, this work stoppage could be explained by a certain number of points that his committee is claiming from the national authorities. According to the speaker Guida LANDOURE, the strikers of the Point G University Hospital were shunned by the national authorities. As proof, according to him, no reconciliation commission has been set up to initiate negotiations between the parties around the points of claims as stipulated by law. Professor LANDOURE qualified, in his remarks, the attitude of the national authorities as being a contempt towards his union committee.
To illustrate his accusations, he said that the leaders of other unions who had called strikes after his Committee had been listened to by the authorities.
Why have the strikers of the CHU du Point not, until proven otherwise, been received on the negotiating table by the competent authorities? In response to his question, Professor GUIDA LANDOURE said that the indefinite strike which continues at the Point G hospital is encouraged by the authorities.

“The population should know that the authorities refuse to dialogue with the striking trade unionists,” said Pr LANDOURE.
Finally, Professor Guida LANDOURE asked the national authorities to return to better feelings so that they could together sit down on the negotiating table in order to find solutions to the strike at the CHU du Point G.
He pleaded by saying this: “we want to stop the strike that the national authorities help the strikers to stop the strike at the Point G University Hospital”.
