The women’s futsal team continues its training camp in Sulaymaniyah Governorate in preparation for participation in the Asian qualifiers hosted by Thailand in January next year.
A statement from the Football Association, received by the (INA), stated that “the training camp, which is held in the closed Ali Saleh Hall and lasts for ten days, witnessed the participation of all the female players who were chosen by the team’s coaching staff, led by Portuguese coach Vieira Bettencourt and her assistants, Francisco Major and Philippe Andrade.” “.
The statement quoted the director of the women’s futsal team, Ali Abbas, as saying: “The players are subjected to two training units, morning and evening, and that there is an increase in the level, as the Portuguese coach seeks to bring the players to the best advanced technical stages before entering an external training camp that will be held in Morocco at the end of this month.” It includes two trial matches to test the players.”
He added, “The professional player in Europe (Helen Schwan) joined the national team’s training, in the hope that the other professional players (Shoukhan Nour El-Din, Diana Daryoush Daoud, Nashtman Khalil Ibrahim, and Soline Abdullah Saadi) will join the Moroccan camp.”
