The World Health Organization announced the closure of 5 hospitals and the damage of 100 health care centers in Lebanon as a result of the Israeli bombing.
The organization said that these violations greatly affect the provision of health care in light of the deteriorating conditions.
For its part, the Israeli army threatened to target ambulances in southern Lebanon under the pretext of “using them to transport Hezbollah militants.”
The Crisis Response Unit in Lebanon announced that 60 people were killed and 168 others were injured as a result of Israeli raids within 24 hours, and the death toll from Israeli strikes during the year reached 2,229 dead and 10,380 injured.
The Lebanese authorities opened 1,032 centers to shelter the displaced, in which 187,000 people took refuge.
After a warning from the Israeli army, a building was evacuated in the town of Al-Aqibiya in the Tire district in southern Lebanon, housing more than 20 displaced families from neighboring villages.
The Lebanese Army confirmed the authenticity of the warning messages sent by the Israeli Army to evacuate, which reached the displaced people in the aforementioned building.
Earlier, the Israeli army warned residents of 22 villages in southern Lebanon to evacuate areas north of the Awali River.
