Al-Marsad newspaper: Neurologists, Dr. Hani Al-Abdali, explained that cupping is not a substitute for “aspirin”.

He said during an interview with the “Al-Rashid” program broadcast on the Al-Ekhbariya channel: It is not true that cupping is an alternative to aspirin. On the contrary, some studies have stated that it is very dangerous, and it is not supposed to be used for a large group of heart patients, cholesterol patients, those who have clots, the elderly, and patients with tumors. and diabetes.”

He continued, for example, patients with diabetes when doing cupping for them may occur wounds that do not heal, and sometimes cupping, with the presence of blood thinners, may lead to a bleeding event that does not stop.

He added, stopping medications 4 or 5 days before cupping, may cause clots.
