Following the recommendation of a special locating committee appointed by the National Library’s Board of Directors, the Board of Directors approved the appointment of Nitzan, former State Attorney, to the position of Rector, who will manage all aspects of the library’s content. Nitzan will manage the entire content worlds of the library.
The library’s director general, Oren Weinberg, will continue to manage all of the library’s operational issues, and as someone who has successfully led the National Library’s renewal processes in recent years, he will continue to manage the library’s relocation project to the new Mishkan. .
