The State Revenue Committee informs that citizens are still submitting applications to the RA SRC regarding the clarification of the status of cars as a product of the Eurasian Economic Union. About 5,500 applications have been submitted since the beginning of 2023.
In order to respond to all the mentioned applications in a unified manner, the Committee informs once again, in accordance with points 12, 13, 30, 31 and 37 of the 3rd appendix of the agreement “On the accession of the Republic of Armenia to the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union of May 29, 2014” , as well as the means of transport of the 4th Annex, imported from third countries to the territory of the Republic of Armenia for the purpose of free circulation of the EAEU TGS AA 8702, 8703, 870421 and 870431, for which customs duties and taxes were paid at rates different from the rates of the Eurasian Economic Union, in 2023. since January 1, they have acquired the status of a product of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Exceptions are only 339 vehicles whose declaration was carried out by the EEC Council on 21.02.2020. Decision No. 20 and EEC Council dated 03.04.2020 according to decision No. 49 (the list is attached).
The mentioned 339 vehicles will receive the status of a product of the Eurasian Economic Union in 2025. from April 1 or in case of payment of the difference of the common rate of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Therefore, the State Revenue Committee reminds that there is no longer any need to submit an application to the RA SRC in order to receive information on the status of cars as a product of the Eurasian Economic Union. You just need to check the presence of the vehicle in the list. If the vehicle in question is not on the list, it has the status of a product of the Eurasian Economic Union.
We remind you that on January 11, 2023, a notification about the above-mentioned regulations was already posted on the official website of the SRC.
