According to the index, Singapore was rated as the country with the best service and health status globally in 2023. Asia is well represented overall, with the top four spots complemented by Japan, South Korea and Taiwan.
For their part, other nations that stand out on the list are the United Kingdom in place 34 and USA in position 69. Both have some of the best hospitals and universities in the world, although that is not enough to appear in the top 10.
