In the last few hours, complaints have spread on social networks about the sale of “La Llave” coffee packages that actually contain sawdust in Cuba.
Through the Facebook page “Revolico Holguín” a user reported what happened to him when he bought the product in that city.
In that sense, it was specified that this package of coffee in that area of Cuba is sold by an “older man”, so he warned people not to purchase it.
“Please do not buy this package of La Llave coffee, what is inside is sawdust, it is sold by an older man over 60 years old, a well-dressed black person with Yarei java, they say they are from Santiago,” he says. the complaint on social networks.

However, in the comments of the publication other Internet users denounced that this situation is happening in other cities in Cuba, where they also sell coffee with that packaging, and what it brings is sawdust.
It turned out that, in the city of Las Tunas, on the island, people have also been scammed with the sale of coffee with sawdust.
“Café “La Llave” at 800 pesos and what it comes with is sawdust inside. But the nicest thing is that they come well sealed, people are happy,” reads the complaint, which also shows a photograph that verifies the situation.
Faced with this situation, some Cubans advised people to pay close attention to the packaging, since the original La Llave coffee, which is sold in Cuba because it is brought from abroad, has a characteristic that distinguishes it, marking a difference with the counterfeit one.
