It’s now possible to own the Tumbler, Batman’s car in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, after Warner Bros Discovery Global Consumer Products and Relevance International will produce ten real-life Batmobiles. The design of the Batman car remains true to the original model, which appears in the films, including its geometric shapes and spikes.
The Batmobile Tumbler will cost around 2.7 million euros, but the 10 Batmobiles will not be able to move on the regular road network, only on track and at events.
The 1:1 scale Tumbler rail version of the car is 4.64m long and 2.82m wide. Individual details, interior and tires are a reproduction of the original film model, and there is a real engine under the hood.
The car is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 gasoline engine from General Motors with 532 hp. power and 659 Nm of torque, the same found in the Chevrolet Corvette C6 and the fifth-generation Camaro SS (although it comes in different power outputs).
