He Institute of Transparency, Access to Public Information, Protection of Personal Data and Local Accountability (InfoCDMX) presented to the capital’s Congress an initiative for the creation of a Law for the Use of Artificial Intelligence (IA) y Processing of Personal Data.
The initiative, accompanied by the benches of Morena y Citizen Movementseeks to protect people and the use of their data, whether for training activities or for the marketing of services or products.
“The purpose of the initiative is to regulate one of the most powerful tools that man has created throughout history, which is Artificial Intelligence,” mentioned the commissioner. Julio César Bonilla.
The initiative aims to establish principles, rules and procedures for the management of IA and data processing by obligated subjects, as well as determining that no system is used to the detriment of people.
Establishes principles for the use of a system of IA, for there to be a privacy responsibility and it is specified that the natural or legal persons who receive or use public resources will be responsible for the processing of personal data used there.
