The decision to prematurely terminate the powers of the mayor of Leskovets was taken by the Municipal Election Commission (ECC) in Oryahovo. The reasons are that Antoaneta Tsvetkova did not take the necessary actions to close a company in her name within one month of taking the oath, it was published on the website of OIC – Oryahovo.

Partial elections for the mayor of a town hall are also expected in the village of Kreta, municipality of Mezdra, where elections for the mayor of the town hall will be held for the third time. Twice the Municipal Electoral Commission in Mezdra terminated the powers of the mayor Vasil Datsev because he did not close commercial companies in his name.

Elections are also expected in the village of Kriva bara, Kozloduy municipality. The mayor of Kriva bara died. The decision of the OIC – Kozloduy was made a few days ago and sent to the Central Election Commission (CEC), according to the Commission’s website. In the meantime, the website of the CEC has announced that the composition of the OIC – Kozloduy has been changed. According to the decision of the CEC, Zornitsa Todorova was appointed as deputy chairman. The previous vice-chairman Miroslav Angelov has submitted an application for release, the chairman of the OIC – Kozloduy Galina Hristova told BTA.
