Thirunal Celebrations and Pradakshina at Shornur St. Anthony’s Church – Closing of Centenary Parish

Shornur: Tirunal celebrations have begun at St. Anthony’s Church. It also marked the closing of the church’s centenary as an independent parish. Fr. Francis Xavier celebrated the Mass and Novena at the service of intercession. Then there was a circumambulation of Thiruswarupa. Navanal will be held in the temple till 10th Saturday. Fr. Lawrence, Fr. Anthony Sahanathan, Fr. Jose Odum, Fr. Jose Majo Netumparampil, Fr. Clint Vincent, Fr. Sylvester D’Cruz, Fr. Alis Sundar Raj will be workers.

On Sunday morning there will be flag hoisting and prasudenti week.

This will be followed by the vow of arrows of Sebastian and the vow of gold of St. Anthony. On Sunday 11th, Holy Communion will be offered at 10 am under the patronage of Bishop Peter Abir Anthonysamy of Sultanpet Diocese.
