Thiruvananthapuram: Suresh Gopi kept his promise to provide an insulin pump to Nandana, a native of Wayanad, who is suffering from type one diabetes. BJP leader Sandeep G Warrier said in a social media post that Suresh Gopi called him directly while he was watching the movie Pappan. Sandeep says in the note that this is not a review of Pappan, but a review of a philanthropist named Suresh Gopi.

Yesterday, I saw papa with my family at Perinthalmanna Wismaya. My wife Sheeja has come to see the film in the thrill of talking to Sureshetan on the phone in the morning.
The movie started. The house is full. I was on the edge of my seat with the same enthusiasm as when I went to meet the Commissioner in Sangeet. The moment the stylish superstar Suresh Gopi hits the screen, the title Pappan is evident. Non-stop applause in the theater. The intriguing detective story moves forward without giving even the slightest hint of guesswork. Sureshetan as Papa and Gokul as Michael all gave excellent performances.
Someone calls my mobile phone to kill the fun as the movie progresses due to Joshi’s wealth of experience. When I pick up my mobile phone, it’s Papana who calls. Indeed Suresh Gopi. He picked up the phone and said ‘Sureshetta is watching the film’.

While a Member of Parliament, Suresh Gopi presented the situation of children suffering from type one diabetes in the House.
During his visit to Wayanad, Suresh Gopi promised, seeing the tears of the parents who came to see Nandana, ‘I can give Nandana an insulin pump, it’s called an automated insulin delivery system, not an insulin pump. The price is Rs.6 lakh. That amount will be fully borne by a philanthropist named Suresh Gopi.
He called Nandana while sitting in the theater. Nandana and her family will reach Thiruvananthapuram on August 2. Nandana’s life saving device will be installed under the supervision of Dr. Jyothidev Kesavadev.
While on screen Papan is full of passion to save the lives of his children, at the same time in real life I was able to be a part of superstar Suresh Gopi’s intervention to save the life of a child.
