Adani Group seeks extension of process related to acquisition of Haifa port in Israel. The delay was requested by a consortium of Israeli government-owned ports. With this, the extension has been extended till November 27.
The port of Haifa is one of the largest ports on the Mediterranean coast. Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone under the Adani Group and Gadot acquired the port through a tender. Gadot is a leading logistics company headquartered in Israel.

The Adani Group sought an extension to the consortium citing Jewish religious holidays. The time was extended till November 27 after the Ministry of Finance of Israel approved these matters.
