The Lebanese Hezbollah sent a strong message to Israel, stressing that “this situation will not last long.”

Hezbollah stressed that “the stage now is related to the ceasefire agreement,” stressing that it “wants to implement this agreement and deals with the issue from the perspective of state responsibilities.”

A member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament, Hassan Fadlallah, said, “This situation will not continue and the enemy will not be able to achieve through these methods what it was unable to achieve in the field, as the martyrs prevented it from infiltrating and occupying.”

Fadlallah added: “Now we see the result of the invitation that was addressed to us to leave the matter in the south to UNIFIL and the official institutions to carry out their duties,” continuing: “The enemy will not have a guarantee in our land from anyone, nor will he have the freedom to dispose of our land in any way.”

He stressed that “the resistance knows its duties and what it must do,” noting that “those who were calling on Hezbollah to leave the matter to the state and international resolutions have a period of 60 days, which is a test of all these statements.”

Fadlallah concluded by saying, “The party will continue to carry the cause of defending Lebanon and the south, to liberate the land, protect the people, and preserve the achievements achieved through the sacrifices of the martyrs.”

This “ceasefire entered into force on November 27 and remains generally in effect, although both sides accuse each other of repeated violations.
