Mountain Adviser Ambassador (retd) Supradeep Chakma said that those involved in the violence in Rangamati should be brought to justice as soon as possible.

He said that a case has been filed regarding the incident of violence and the adviser directed the law enforcement agencies to bring the real criminals under the law after seeing various video images and footage. In this case, concerned people are also asked to be careful that no innocent people are harassed.

The Hill Adviser said these things after visiting Chittagong Hill Regional Council, Chevron Hospital and its surrounding shops, Banrupa Kata Pahar Market, Banrupa Jame Masjid, Kathaltali Maitri Vihar Upsanalaya.

These issues have been informed in a press release of the Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs.

Adviser Supradeep Chakma said that the government will provide them with the necessary assistance by preparing a detailed list of the victims of violence.

At this time Chittagong Hill Tracts Regional Council Chairman Jyotirindra Bodhipriya Larma (Santu Larma), Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Ministry Joint Secretary Kangkan Chakma, Rangamati District Commissioner Mohammad Mosharf Hossain Khan, District Police Superintendent Dr. Farhad Hossain and others were present.
