A huge fire that broke out near Los Angeles forced thousands of residents to evacuate their homes located in the hills above the American city, according to what the authorities announced, who warned that the fire was spread strongly due to strong wind.

The fire started on Tuesday evening in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood below the Santa Monica Mountains, northwest of the city, which is filled with villas, each priced in the millions of dollars.
Within hours, the fire destroyed about 1,200 hectares.
California Governor Gavin Newsom said during a press conference Tuesday afternoon that authorities counted “many buildings that have already been destroyed” as a result of the fire.
The authorities explained that they had issued orders for around 30,000 people to evacuate their homes due to the danger of fire.
No injuries have been reported so far.
