Three provinces will have power outages this Sunday, June 9 – La Nación

The CNEL reported the times and sectors in which the power cuts will be applied this Sunday.

1. Machala: Santa Inés Urbanization, Ciudad Verde, Ciudad Palmeras, Porto Verdella, Oro Plaza Shopping Centers, Shoping promenade, Macarsa, Faculty of Agricultural Sciences of the University of Machala, SRI offices, Ecuaquimica and surrounding sites, located at the exit of the city from Machala.

Blackouts in Esmeraldas

In Atacames, the power cuts will be made due to a link between the Almendro and Cabaplán feeders.

During 09:00 to 12:00, the electrical service will not be available in this sector:

1. Atacames: Tonsupa self-service and food stores, Taseche facility and entrance to Villa Rica.

Power outages in Los Ríos

In Palenquepower outages are due to changes in medium voltage structures and electrical poles.

During the 10:00 a 13:00the electrical service will not be available in these sectors:

1. Palenque: Libertad de Palenque, Bajo Hondo, Las Garzas, La Codicia, La Cecilia, San José de la Tranca and Santa Lucía Campuses

End of power outages in Ecuador due to energy crisis

The Minister of Energy in charge, Roberto Luquestated that Ecuador already will not suffer from power outages scheduled due to lack of electrical energy.
