Madurai: The verdict on the anticipatory bail plea of ​​3 BJP members in the case of throwing a shoe at the minister’s car in Madurai was postponed. The judge ordered the BJP to apologize.

BJP members hurled shoes at Minister BDR Palanivel Thiagarajan’s car during the funeral ceremony at the Madurai Airport to pay respects to Letchumanan, a soldier from Usilampatti who was killed in a terrorist attack in Kashmir. In this related case, 10 people namely Kumar, Pala, Gopinath, another Gopinath, Jayakarna, Mohammad Yakub, Thanalekshumi, Saranya, Deivanai from BJP were arrested.

In this case, Madurai Vlangudi Venkaimaran, Mela Pattanadi Manikandan and Managiri Gokul Ajith filed a petition in the High Court branch seeking anticipatory bail. These petitions came up for hearing today before Justice Ilangovan.

Then the judge and the petitioners should file a petition seeking an unconditional apology for the incident. He ordered that the judgment be postponed.
