Tottenham defeated its rival, Crystal Palace, 4-1, in the match that brought them together in the twenty-eighth round of the English Premier League.
The brilliant Gareth Bale opened the scoring for Tottenham in the 25th minute, then Christian Benteke equalized for Crystal Palace in the first minute of added time in the first half.
In the second half, Bale returned and increased the score with a second goal in the 49th minute, after which top scorer Harry Kane added the third goal in the 52nd minute, then the English striker returned and scored his second goal to complete his team’s quadruple in the 76th minute.
With this victory, Spurs rises to sixth place with 45 points, while Palace’s score stops at 34 points in thirteenth place.
