Following the release of a video of a traffic police officer assaulting a Zwicky company employee in Coimbatore, the police officer has been ordered to be transferred to a waiting list.
B.Sc. from Nilambur. Mohana Sundaram, a graduate, is involved in food distribution in Zwicky. When he went into his two-wheeler yesterday, a traffic policeman, Satish, slapped him on the cheek and seized his vehicle key.
This scene was widely shared on social media. Mohan Sundaram said that the school bus which collided with a two-wheeler and did not stop, was attacked by the police when he was caught red-handed.
The Coimbatore Metropolitan Police has ordered an inquiry into the incident.
