Training in the field of medicine, at the center of the priorities of the social state project (Mr. Akhannouch)
Marrakech – Training in the field of medicine is at the center of priorities within the framework of the social state project, as desired by His Majesty King Mohammed VI, underlined Wednesday in Marrakech, the Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch .
In a press statement following a meeting held with the deans of the Kingdom’s faculties of medicine and pharmacy, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, Abdellatif Miraoui , and dedicated to reviewing the efforts made within the framework of the reform of the training sector in the field of health, Mr. Akhannouch underlined that “a great deal of work has been accomplished in this regard, over the last weeks.”
In this context, the Head of Government noted the existence of a clear vision to move forward and positively on the path to reform, in order to provide all the means and create favorable conditions for students. in medicine and pharmacy, for the continuation of their studies and the achievement of the expected success, the training of doctors of the future, and the establishment of medicine at the required level.
In this context, Mr. Akhannouch indicated that there are solutions which will be presented soon relating to the quality of training and the broadening of the base of the internship, while providing a clear vision on the future form of training in the field of medicine over the next few years so that students have a clear vision of their academic future.
The Head of Government also underlined that this reform aims to improve the situation of training supervisors and to provide the necessary means to help them carry out their functions within hospitals in the best conditions.
