Travis Kelce to spend Thanksgiving alone as Taylor Swift tours South America

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce revealed on his “New Heights” podcast that he will be spending Thanksgiving alone this year, as his girlfriend Taylor Swift is on tour in South America. Kelce shared that he will be watching football and having a fast food meal all by himself while Swift is away.

Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, who plays football for the Philadelphia Eagles, invited Travis over to their family’s Thanksgiving dinner, but Travis jokingly declined, saying, “That’s exactly what I wanted to do this week.”

It seemed like there was a possibility that the couple could sit at the same Thanksgiving table, as both Swift and Kelce had the holiday off amid their busy work schedules. However, Swift was unable to attend Monday’s Chiefs/Eagles game after extreme temperatures in Rio de Janeiro forced her to reschedule a concert for the same day. She also has upcoming concerts scheduled in São Paulo.

During the podcast, Kelce shared his gratitude for Swift, discussing his new Christmas song “Fairytale of New York,” a cover of The Pogues’ 1987 song, which hit No. 1 on iTunes. The Kelce brothers credited Swift’s fans, known as Swifties, for helping bring the single to the top of the music streamer’s chart, with Travis expressing his appreciation for Swift and her fans.

As Kelce prepares to spend Thanksgiving alone, he expressed his thanks to Swift and her fans, acknowledging their support for his music. Although the couple won’t be spending Thanksgiving together, it’s clear they continue to support each other in their individual endeavors.
