The Strega Emanuele Trevi prize is a guest of the Dialoghi sull’uomo event on Sunday 26 September 2021, 11.30 am, in Piazza del Duomo in Pistoia. He will be on stage with Marco Aime on the theme «Journeys and initiatory paths», a topic that he introduces in this video. “Initiatory journeys – he says – are a type of experience that can take place near or far, but in any case whoever returns is different from how he left”. Trevi is the author of the essay «Initiatory journeys» (Utet), in which he tackles this great modern tòpos and looks for its traces in anthropological and literary production.
