Trial of the “dismemberers” of Rouen: “It was him or me”, defends the main accused

Moment both poignant and trying yesterday on the fourth day of the trial of the “dismemberers” which has been held before the assizes of Seine-Maritime, in Rouen, since Monday. At the request of the civil parties and the Advocate General, several photographs of the martyred body of the victim, Sliman Amara, were shown on the screens in the courtroom. Taken during the macabre discovery in the Seine, then at the time of the autopsy, these photos illustrate, more than long debates, the horror of this assassination of which his ex-companion, Céline Vasselin, and a friend of this last, Jessica Adam, and whom they both recognize.
