Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan declared on Friday that Ankara is open to normalizing relations with the Syrian government.

Erdogan said: “The terrorist attack on Tosas Company was carried out by the infiltration of Syrian perpetrators,” noting that “terrorists are only puppets and agents, and our goal is to make Turkey free from terrorism , and we will not. give up on that.”
Erdogan added, “We look forward to the Syrian government understanding the benefits that a true and realistic normalization of its relations with Türkiye will provide it and take its steps accordingly.”
He continued, “There is an increase in the number of parties that support our initiative under the umbrella of the United Nations to impose a comprehensive arms embargo on the Zionist entity.”
For his part, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerli Kaya announced “the arrest of 176 people suspected of belonging to the Kurdistan Workers’ Party in operations in 31 provinces.”
