Twitter announced tonight (Sunday) that it has permanently suspended the personal account of the Republican congresswoman, Marjorie Taylor Green, Due to the spread of false information around the corona plague. Tonight Green posted a false tweet about “huge amounts of deaths as a result of the corona vaccine” alongside a chart that included unverified raw data from a government database. As a result, it was announced on Twitter that this was a fifth violation of the procedures by the Georgia congressional company, after it had previously been temporarily suspended due to allegations that “vaccines fail” and that corona “is not dangerous” to non-obese or under-65s.
As a result, it was decided to permanently suspend Green’s personal account from the social network, even though her official account is still active as it has not violated the regulations. “We have made it very clear that according to our warning policy, we will suspend accounts that repeatedly violate the policy,” said Twitter spokeswoman Kate Roseborough.
“Twitter is America’s enemies and they can not face the truth,” Green said following the suspension. “It’s okay. I’ll show America we do not need them and it’s time to defeat our enemies. Social networks can not stop the spread of the truth. The Communist Democrats can not stop the truth. I stand by the truth and the people. We will overcome!”
Green, one of former President Donald Trump’s biggest supporters and a supporter of the Qi-Anon conspiracy website, has repeatedly provoked public outrage, even within the Republican Party, over her positions during the Corona plague. Last June, she apologized after comparing the yellow badge to the mask-wearing policy and even visited the Holocaust Museum in Washington, but continued to compare Democrats and Nazis.
