24 grams were seized. of cocaine, 452 grams. cannabis, €1,000 and a precision scale
Two citizens, aged 29 and 52, were arrested today (Tuesday, March 26, 2024) in Rhodes, by police officers of the Narcotics Prosecution Department of the Rhodes Security Sub-Directorate, against whom a case file was filed for possession – trafficking in narcotics.
In particular, in the context of investigating a case of drug trafficking after evaluating evidence, the perpetrators were identified successively and targeted controls were carried out, a search was carried out at their residence as well as at an I.X.E. car they were using, during which they were found in total possession and confiscated:
· Cocaine weighing 23.7 grams
· Cannabis weighing 451.6 grams
· High accuracy weight scale
· 1,000 euros
· 2 mobile phones
· Lots of empty plastic containers, suitable for drug distribution
It is noted that the quantity of cocaine was in small packages ready for distribution.
Those arrested will be taken to the District Court of Rhodes.
The investigation of the case is part of the special operational actions of the Police Services of the South Aegean to combat the spread of drugs.
