The interim administrative body of Al-Zawraa Sports Club confirmed today, Thursday, the filing of two lawsuits against the previous administration headed by Falah Hassan.
A member of the interim administrative body, Laith Hussein, told the (INA): “The previous administration did not adhere to the decision of the Iraqi Olympic Committee, which obligated it to hand over the club’s headquarters to the new interim body, including all financial and administrative matters.”
Hussein added, “The Interim Authority filed a criminal lawsuit and another lawsuit with the Justice Implementation Department against the previous administration, and the necessary legal measures will be taken based on the decisions issued by the Sports Settlement and Arbitration Center.”
Hussein pointed out, “As soon as the interim authority takes over the club, radical changes will be made that include most of the club’s components, in addition to making plans for the coming seasons.”
The Executive Office of the Iraqi National Olympic Committee had dissolved the administrative body of the Al-Zawraa Sports Club in light of the legal and administrative violations that accompanied the club’s elections.
